I'm not a genius when it comes to computers but I know a thing or two. Whenever I call my internet provider to let them know my internet is down they talk to me like I'm an idiot. I know they have certain lines they have to say but I usually tell them everything they need to know before they ask so I don't see why I have to go trough all the process.

  • I agree. It's very tiresome for computer folks to talk to tech support. I
rattle off all the info in the beginning to illustrate that I have a deep
understanding of technology and do not need to "reboot my computer" to renew
my ip address as that isn't even something that would help with my
    connectivity issue!
