Today we’ll be talking health and specifically weight loss.  More and more people I know on Twitter are taking action to lose weight.   My sister has struggled with her weight since the age of 11 and I’ve seen so many friends beat themselves up for their weight.  We’ll explore the shame, guilt and blaming that goes on regarding weight loss.

I have always been slim but that doesn’t mean I’ve always been healthy.  Today I will share how I gained 15lbs in the summer of 2002 and lost it by December 2002

    Good stuff Adria! My wife is a Transitions Certified Lifestyle coach and she has helped dozens of people to acheive unbelievable weight loss using a 12 week program. It incoporates vitamins and supplements, exercise, and behavior modification through journaling, accountibility, etc. You're so right, diets don't work. I'm adding a you tube video below about why that is. Take care!

    Yes, losing weight is a temporary thing with the goal of weight
    maintenance. Good for your wife on educating people and providing tools for
    growth!
