Bring your questions, bring your iPhones and get ready to jailbreak!

I’ll have a bottle of wine and we’ll go through the jailbreak process.

iPhones that will be jailbroke and upgraded on the show

• 3GS 16GB iPhone running firmware 3.1.2
• 2G 8GB iPhone running firmware 3.1.2

We will be using the freely available jailbreaking software created by the iPhone Dev team for this jailbreak as usual. I know people have been asking about firmware version 4.0 but until the iPhone Dev Team (http://blog.iphone-dev.org) releases it, I consider it “not available”.

If you live in the Twin Cities and want me to jailbreak your iPhone, contact me on Twitter before the 29th and I’ll jailbrake your iPhone at no cost.

If you choose to have me jailbreak your iPhone, you will get it back on Saturday, January 30th.  You can still use AT&T for your phone service BUT you’ll also have the ability to use T-mobile as well, like I do!

I’m also working to see if I can get some iPhone accessory give aways for the event!
