What is this site about?
This site was created so I could answer questions in a format that encourages interaction.  I focus my topics on technology items that business owners encounter, IT consultants fix and website designers wonder about.

About Adria

Adria Richards has been in the IT industry for 10 years and launched her own consulting company in 2006. She is an active supporter of open source and promotes developers and their tools on social networks.

Adria has appeared on and been interviewed for:

• The Rachel Maddow Show
• The Associated Press
• ComputerWorld
• Minnesota Public Radio
• Star & Tribune

and various media outlets due to her citizen journalism on her tech blog.

She founded Freshworkshops which offers live, online training for Wordpress, Joomla, SEO, Social Media and website development. She has a long history in the IT industry and was hired in 1999 at Geeksquad by Robert Stephens. Adria holds her Microsoft MCSA, MCDST and A+ certifications.

When not working, Adria puts in time to make the world a better place. She wants to attend a TED conference to connect with other people who have big dreams.

Companies like 37signals have accomplished amazing things by discarding old ways of thinking.  The GTD methods of David Allen and Lifehacker have strongly influenced Adria’s work style.
