Join me at 5:30pm to discuss this.
It seems no matter where we turn, there are men defining us, telling what we’re capable of and why we’re excluded from positions of power in the technology industry. Sure, they will have us on as guests but why are we, as women, unable to create a foundation from which we can grow strong?
I personally don’t want to be whining at anyone’s door but things are becoming more clear by the day that the “online” world has “glass ceilings” as well and that pisses me off!

hi Adria,
I hear you and I agree with you. I’m wondering if you have commented on why this stratification is happening in the western world and does not seem to be a problem in developing countries.
Here is an article I picked up on Twitter through the Girl Geek Dinner Network.
rt @ggdworldwide Something I have known finally backed up by stats! http://snurl.com/qdp9b Only the Developed World Lacks Women in Computing
